Absolute is an Italian motor-yacht builder whose boats span roughly 47 to 75 feet.
About the brand
The yard was founded in 2002 by Sergio Maggi and Marcello Bè. All production runs at a single site in Podenzano near Piacenza, from hull lay-up to interior. The range splits into three lines, Navetta, Flybridge and Coupé, and every model uses Volvo Penta IPS pod drives. Since 2024 the majority stake has been held by the Wise Equity fund, while Angelo Gobbi remains the company's president.
In charter
In charter Absolute appears most often in the Navetta line, typically in lengths of around 50 to 66 feet. The boats have a large enclosed saloon and a wide cockpit, which is paid for in fuel consumption and a higher charter price than a sailing yacht of similar length. Larger units are usually let with a skipper, another item in the budget.
